Why does Ionosphere reflect Radio Waves but not any other EM spectrum then, not even Microwaves? Ever wondered? 😀

In fact it is a reason. The long wavelength means Radio Waves can be reflected effectively unlike waves with shorter wavelength that would dissipate in atmosphere before reaching ground.

It can be considered as an independent question to compare the wavelengths of different waves – micro, radio, IR, gamma… We can have questions like that and since Radio waves are what we talk being reflected by ionosphere.. it sounds relevant

Regarding Radio waves shouldn’t the answer be D, as how is the wavelength of radio waves relevant for ionosphere. Ionosphere facilitates radio communication due to the presence of ions. Please clarify.

ise apna junnoon mt bnao( i learnt it from Ira singhal) upsc ko baki exams k tarah hi lo give your 100% but dont make it a ques of your life and death..
and always be prepared to face the failure otherwise you cannot move ahead.Try as much possible to be even minded in both sucess and failure -

even m not from science background but dont give such excuses to yourself dont limit yourself the ques was simply fact based and if you have read some ncerts and some CA so i guess atleast you can take a guess,we cant know everything but inspite of that we have to attempt all sections to clear pre..rely on basics and try to take EDUCATED guesses rather than thinking you are from some background and it is from diff field.
