    Missed the Question no.1 , shouldn’t be neither 1 and 2?
Dispute redressal depends on how you negotiate the treaty! There is no hard and fast rule

    Hey,
Q4 the first option says It refers to a bank that would buy non-performing assets from other banks to free up their books for fresh lending.

Acc to my understanding, it need not be a bank rather it can be any asset rehabilitation agency.

So then the answer would be D

Others and @Forumias please clarify if my understanding is wrong

Not necessarily. The investors are generally expected to go through the domestic courts. In fact, this is one of th major issues between India and EU BIT Talks. India doesn’t want to allow investors to drag India to International arbitration mechanisms without going through domestic process.

what i think is that the statement ” either john is stupid or john is lazy” means that he cannot be both stupid and lazy at the same time so we need to be sure about not being of one condition and that surety of not being of one condition is provided only by statement 2 and 3
whereas in statements 1 and 2 the second part which states of not being of one condition is actually dependent on the 1st part of the sentence..hence we are not being provided surety of not being of one condition.

  40. Wah! Same to same

  41. Sorry madamji but options are according to upsc 1995 paper we cannot change it. 🙂

  49. only in cases 2 and 3, we have the situation where either being lazy or either being sad is completely ruled out and therefore adheres to the statement that he is either lazy or sad but not both.
Sorry if the explanation did not satisfy you, I cant upload a pic of the Venn 🙁

Under Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS), the investor can drag the host country to International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, instead of litigating in domestic courts.
