1. Fat tax introduced by Kerala, is not comprehensive in nature because of exclusion of equally unhealthy Indian street food. It is also said to be not in coehrence with international trade agreements under WTO. Discuss

4. The new Citizenship Bill should not restrict itself to minorities from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh but should include refugees from persecuted minorities of all denominations. Critically evaluate.

5. While Piracy indeed does impose a range of costs on producers and distributors of content, it also act as the main source of access to a wide range of media and knowledge. Discuss in the light of recent steps taken by government to prevent piracy.

    All the questions today are from the today’s events. But you promised that the questions would be covering all the current events from December 2015. I know it is too early to generalise and please do not take it as a complaint. But please take it as a constructive criticism.

    Good Initiative !
    One suggestion-
    If we look previous years mains question papers, UPSC asks questions on current issues of over a span of 1 to 2 years.
    So pls post questions on imp issues taken place in the span of 1-2 years also.

    Its a humble request, i just want to bring it to your notice about the source links that you provide under each question.

    I would be much easier if those links can be opened as a new tab, rather than moving away from these questions. needing to come back to the questions page.

    Please rectify that issue if possible.

    I think so it will be an issue because the DAF form which one fills after prelims result and is submitted to UPSC before Mains exam, ask for a photocopy of the OBC certificate.
    I would suggest you should get in touch with UPSC asap, if your reasons are genuine, they might give you some time to furnish the certificate.

    Hello sir,

    I have one query. I could not get OBC certificate. So can I fill mains form without having OBC certificate.

    Please help me as I am very anxious regarding this.

    In that case, can I not give mains exam ?

    At what time I need to give certificate mandatorily ?
