Calm down friends… The intent is only to give a picture of FC and how wonderful experience it was for me and probably each one of there in lbsnaa.. I’m nowhere intended to over glorify people who cleared! Nobody is perfect and those who clear are not gods, including Rank 1s.. Just that sometimes it works out for some, sometimes it doesn’t.. I know many fully capable people failing in this exam.. At the end of the day, u need that Ray of Luck too to be in this Academy ! I hope best for both of u…
N yes, ground Realities are very harsh and the country needs leaders, more than anything else.. Upsc is transforming in recruitment process.. Say Forests added to CS prelims has changed the entire profile of probationers here… N ur mains exam is transforming every year… We are the new generation, U me aditii everyone… Let’s hope we give our best…
N bureaucracy is not so bad after all.. Else this country of 1.3 billion people would have faltered long time back without this steel frame! Only few wrong doers get highlighted and predominantly honest Officers do thier job for this Nation silently… Plz Go through 2nd ARC report to get a better idea on this..

I do support your views on nothing being perfect in the world and the need to bring change.That’s the best thing to do, to stay optimistic and to make consistent efforts towards perfection.But, the ground realities, though sometimes harsh and not to our liking need to be accepted and a gentle but consistent reality check always need to be there.
What i intend to say was that its not that all those who get through are 100% nice persons. The author’s views made me feel that a over glorious pic has been presented. Nothing Personal here. But as the author himself clarified that he was being specific about a very limited set of people whom he knew directly, i guess i got a context in which this needs to be looked at.
Anyways apologies to the lady if something erroneous has been said/conveyed without the intention being so.
It was nice talking to the lady. 🙂

Expressing opinion is good, infact ?? however when u intent on writing an exam like the civil services you should not ( personal opinion again )make a comment like ” we would have the best bureaucracy in the world if people were too good” we are aspiring to be change makers and nothing in the ? is perfect! We need to create that! Finally you definitely don’t know me 🙂

Btw:- 3rd last para. “Toooo good people”……Hmmm…..If people are “Tooo good” by nature at LBSNAA, we would have the bestest bureaucracy in the world.
