Statement 1 is correct: Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana is a maternity benefit scheme rechristened from erstwhile Indira Gandhi Matritva Sahyog Yojana (IGMSY). The IGMSY was launched in 2010. The scheme is a conditional cash transfer scheme for pregnant and lactating women of 19 years of age or above for first two live births.
