What is itIt is an annual forum organized to strengthen partnership between India and ASEAN Member States (AMS) in the area of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI). 
Objectives1) To give exposure to social innovations in different countries.
2) To strengthen governance in the grassroots innovation ecosystem.
Organized by1) ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology, and Innovation (COSTI)
2) Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India
3) National Innovation Foundation (NIF) – India and
4) Science and Technology Ministry of the host nation (Malaysia’s Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) this year)

Important Initiatives1) Festival of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (FINE): It is organized by the President’s Secretariat in association with the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and NIF. It aims to recognise and reward innovations.
2) Micro Venture Innovation Fund (MVIF): It was setup by NIF with the support of SIDBI. It provides financial support to grassroots innovators.
