Union Public Service Commission has released admit cards for UPSC CSE Prelims 2021. Earlier, due to the deadly second wave of the Covid pandemic, the UPSC decided to postpone the exam in May. Now, the examination is scheduled to be held on 10th October 2021. You can download your admit card by using the following link.

UPSC Civil Services Examination 2021 will be held for 712 vacancies. It will include 22 vacancies for Persons with Benchmark Disability Category. Candidates who have registered for the Civil Services preliminary exam can download their eAdmit Card from the official website of UPSC.
Few important Instructions for candidates as mentioned by the UPSC
- The candidates won’t be allowed to appear for the exam without the admit card and mandatory photo ID proof (which is mentioned during the application process).
- Entry into the Examination Venue shall be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the Examination, i.e. 09:20 AM for the Forenoon Session and 02:20 PM for the Afternoon Session.
- Candidates who do not have clear photographs on the e-Admit Card will have to bring photo identity proof and two passport size photographs, one for each session.
- Considering the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, wearing of mask/face cover is mandatory for all candidates. Further, candidates are also allowed to carry his/her own hand sanitizer (small size) in a transparent bottle.
- Watches fitted with any special accessory that might be used as a communication device or smartwatches are strictly prohibited.
