Explanation – The aircraft used to carry and release the Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) during the landing experiment (LEX) missions was the Chinook Helicopter. ISRO successfully conducted the third and final RLV LEX mission. The mission demonstrated the autonomous landing capability of the RLV under more challenging release conditions and severe wind conditions.
