  1. What is meaning of “kumar” attached with your name?
  2. You were parade coordinator at school, so tell me the significance of parade.
  3. What are you doing after resignation from company? Are you still preparing or have got any job?
  4. Ok, you got BDO.It means you will love working at grassroot level?

  1. you did chemical engineering and also worked in industry for 1 year. So why you are going towards Civil Services?
  2. Role of chemical Engineering in civil services?

(I told them that my joining for BDO is awaited, but they again asked questions on assumption that I have some idea regarding that post)

  1. As a BDO,what change you want to bring in your block? and many counter questions, (6-7 minutes of discussion regarding post and magisterial power of BDO)
  2. Gave me case study like as a BDO how I will improve education infrastructure. And if I’m transferred then what is the certainty that next BDO will continue my previous efforts with same enthusiasm?
  3. Tell me some government initiatives in the digital economy sector which brought visible impact on masses.

  2. Tell me the Full form of CAPF and mandate of any 3 CAPFs in detail and their administrative and operational control.

  1. Tell me which type of subsidy is given to fertilizer?
  2. Can you explain me the procedure/process like how government is providing subsidy in fertilizer?
  3. You are a chemical engineer, how do you see the issue of fossil fuel in recent times.
  4. Don’t you think that overuse of fossil fuels are not good for India and India should also try to phase out the use of fossil fuel very soon?
  5. Any developed country who is relying on fossil fuels and why they are not taking action on reducing it?
  6. What are the steps taken by government towards green energy infrastructure?
  7. why the timeline of reducing the use of fossil fuel was not finalised at COP 28?
  8. As a BDO, how will you promote use of green energy infrastructure in your block? Many counter questions.
  9. How will you reduce vehicular emission at your block? Give me 3 concrete steps which you as a BDO would take if you are going to promote use of e-vehicles in your block.

  1. How new education policy is better than older one?
  2. Why system of 5+3+3+4 introduced in NEP? what is it’s utility in current context? Also asked some counter questions.

Chairman Sir again asked-

  1. have you heard about singularity in Artificial intelligence?
  2. Why education system of our country is not as par with foreign universities despite having one if the best 23 IITs?
  3. Why Some IITians/NITians are getting low wages of 30-40k and also many of the graduates are unemployed?
  4. Has our education system failed?
  5. We are having IITs and having best talents but that talent goes out of the country and around 140 Indians are holding key position in US. Don’t you think that India is not capable enough in terms of finance and infrastructure to absorb such talent?
  6. what should we do to bring reforms in employment of technical graduates?
  7. Now we are observing that many of IITians from Computer science background are working in consultancy,some are CEOs of companies but they are not well versed in coding but are good in management. don’t you think that they are destroying the valuable resources of IIT?
  8. What are the reasons of high skill mismatch among Indian graduates and what should we do?
  9. IITians are working as CEOs of companies like Zomato and they are not good in coding despite being of IT background.so don’t you think that our coding and AI infrastructure will become weak if such brilliant mind will not be productive in their core branch of engineering?
  10. What are the steps already taken and what would be your suggestions to solve such issues?
