DAF2 pointers – Bhopal, Mandla, MP, Guitar, Lawn Tennis, Public relation, 3D printer (not more than 5% from DAF) + DAF 1 pointers- last year gave IFS exam


Chairman

  1. Read out DAF- then asked anything I missed?- I said my hobbies are- Playing Lawn tennis and playing Guitar. Then he said achaaaa ok.
  2. Then Asked you gave IFS also right, I said yes. Then he asked optionals of IFS- I said geology and forestry
  3. Then he said Chalo tum batao from where to start?- I said yesterday, Bhopal came 5th and Indore- 1st in Swaccha—so proud moment for us
  4. Then he asked, why Indore is not doing good? Then cross ques that Surat is 1st and all.

  6. Bhopal Jheelo ka sheher ya nawabo ka
  7. IFS- optional Forestry right? I said yes—Analyse the statement –“ Natural resources are everyone’s property and no one’s responsibility”

  10. 2nd Optional of IFS was geology, right?- said Yes
  11. Why Himalayan height is increasing?
  12. 2 views on Madras- what will happen to it with respect to Plate tectonics—cross questions on it

  2. India’s targets of Blue economy
  3. Long monologue what should be done- mechanised bottom trawlers and Traditional fishing
  4. NCAP- targets, objectives
  5. Reasons of Pollution in Delhi—cross cutting every point- gave 4 reasons but he wanted to listen something else

  1. Tell SDGs- told 8 or 9 but wanted to hear Climate Action
  2. Then asked India’s target on climate action- could remember 3, but he asked more
  3. Who’s to be blamed for Israel Hamas war?—
  4. Relation of US in it—cant remember his exact ques
  5. Petrodollar hegemony
  6. Recently, G20 took place. 2 major outcomes that came. They were related to investment and youth. So tell me what were the objectives of Y20.
  7. What are countries doing for climate action
  8. Few more ques I cant recall

  1. Analyse the statement- “Caste is not essential in present times”
  2. What is the famous judgement related to Caste
  3. Why SC said it with respect to caste

  1. Suppose your are SP of a district and there are cases of Bulgrary in certain region. What will you do?

  3. Acha, if govt is doing so well in education, why people are going out of India—told him reasons and solutions

  1. Your parents are doctor, why didn’t you choose?
  2. You left medical for ENGG, you left ENGG for Civil, you will leave this also?

Overall cordial board. They helped me with certain questions. Overall good experience.

Gave 5-6 mock interviews.

Mocks didn’t help much because mocks were from DAF mainly, but real interview was out of it. However, mocks were useful in preparing DAF which is important for confidence building.
