Under the administrative control of the then Ministry of Welfare of India, TRIFED is mandated to ringing about socio-economic development of tribals of the country by institutionalising the trade of Minor Forest Produce (MFP) &amp; Surplus Agricultural Produce (SAP) collected\/ cultivated by them.
