In World War II, new theatres emerged with multiple fronts \u2014 Nordic Front, Western Front and Eastern Front. There was also the Pacific-Asian Theater, Africa and Middle East Theater.<\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"22\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"113\" data-aria-level=\"1\">These theatres referred to the <strong>geographical grounds of the battle and all deployments<\/strong> \u2014 army, navy and air force \u2014 happened accordingly in a unified manner.
