This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sexually coloured remarks<\/li>\n<li>Physical contact and advances<\/li>\n<li>Showing pornography<\/li>\n<li>A demand or request for sexual favours<\/li>\n<li>Any other unwelcome physical, verbal\/non-verbal conduct that is sexual in nature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All employers both public and private sector should take appropriate steps to prevent sexual harassment.<\/p>\n<p>Victims of sexual harassment should have the option to seek transfer of the perpetrator or their own transfer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Vishakha guidelines were introduced by the apex court in 1997 which was evolved into a parliamentary law called the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act of 2013.
