The Scheme has an outlay of about Rs.64,180 Cr over six years (till FY 25-26). It is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aim:\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing the capacities of the primary, secondary, and tertiary health sectors.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen existing national institutions in the Health sector<\/li>\n<li>Create new institutions, to cater to the detection and cure of new and emerging diseases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Duration of the Scheme:<\/strong> Six Years<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target:<\/strong> The PMASBY targets to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">build an IT-enabled disease surveillance system<\/span> by developing a network of surveillance laboratories at block, district, regional and national levels, in Metropolitan areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salient features of the scheme: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rural, Urban Health, and Wellness Centres<\/li>\n<li>Integrated Public Health Labs<\/li>\n<li>Critical health care hospital blocks<\/li>\n<li>National institution for One Health<\/li>\n<li>Regional research platform for WHO South-East Asia Region,<\/li>\n<li>9 Biosafety Level III laboratories and 4 regional centers of National Institutes for Virology.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and 5 regional branches of it<\/li>\n<li>Expanding the integrated health information panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About PM Aatmanirbhar Swasthya Bharat Yojana: In the Budget speech of FY 21-22, the scheme has been announced.
