Development of heart, gut, kidney. uterus, ovary,<br \/>\ntestis and their common congenital abnormalities.<br \/>\nCentral and Peripheral Autonomic Nervous System : Gross and clinical anatomy of<br \/>\nventricles of brain, circulation of cerebrospinal fluid; Neural pathways and lesions of cutaneous<br \/>\nsensations, hearing and vision; Cranial nerves distribution and clinical significance;<br \/>\nComponents of autonomic nervous system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Human Physiology :<\/strong><br \/>\nConduction and transmission of impulse, mechanism of contraction, neuromuscular<br \/>\ntransmission, reflexes, control of equilibrium, posture and muscle tone, descending pathways,<br \/>\nfunctions of cerebellum, basal ganglia, Physiology of sleep and consciousness.<br \/>\nEndocrine System : Mechanism of action of hormones; formation, secretion, transport,<br \/>\nmetabolism, function and regulation of secretion of pancreas and pituitary gland.<br \/>\nPhysiology of Reproductive System : Pregnancy menstrual cycle, lactation, pregnancy.<br \/>\nBlood : Development, regulation and fate of blood cells.<br \/>\nCardio-vascular,cardiac output, blood pressure, regulation of cardiovascular functions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Biochemistry :<\/strong><br \/>\nOrgan function tests\u2014liver, kidney, thyroid Protein synthesis.<br \/>\nVitamins and minerals.<br \/>\nRestriction fragment length.<br \/>\npolymorphism (RFLP).<br \/>\nPolymerase chain reaction (PCR).<br \/>\nRadio-immunoassays (RIA).<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.
