1. Genealogical relationship of the Kashmiri language: various theories.
\n2. Areas of occurence and dialects (geographical\/social)
\n3. Phonology and grammar:
\ni. Vowel and consonant system;
\nii. Nouns and pronouns with various case inflections;
\niii. Verbs: various types and tenses.
\n4. Syntactic structure:
\ni. Simple, active and declarative statements;
\nii. Coordination;
\niii. Relativisation.<\/p>\n

Section B<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Kashmiri literature in the 14th century (Socio-cultural and intellectual background with
\nspecial reference to Lal Dyad and Sheikhul Alam).
\n2. Nineteenth century Kashmiri literature (development of various genres : vatsun; ghazal and
\nmathnavi.
\n3. Kashmiri literature in the first half of the twentieth century (with special reference to
\nMahjoor and Azad; various literary influences).
\n4. Modern Kashmiri literature (with special reference to the development of the short story,
\ndrama, novel and nazm).<\/p>\n
