{"id":100782,"date":"2021-04-09T17:37:58","date_gmt":"2021-04-09T12:07:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=100782"},"modified":"2021-04-09T20:03:38","modified_gmt":"2021-04-09T14:33:38","slug":"trifed-launches-sankalp-se-siddhi-village-and-digital-connect-drive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/trifed-launches-sankalp-se-siddhi-village-and-digital-connect-drive\/","title":{"rendered":"TRIFED launches \u201cSankalp se Siddhi\u201d- Village and Digital Connect Drive"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>What is the News?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India(TRIFED) launches \u201cSankalp se Siddhi\u201d &#8211; A Village and Digital Connect Drive.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>About Sankalp Se Siddhi Initiative:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Sankalp Se Siddhi Initiative<\/strong> aims to activate the Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs) in the villages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Key Features of the Initiative:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Firstly, under the initiative,<\/strong> 150 teams (10 in each region from TRIFED and State Implementation Agencies\/Mentoring Agencies\/Partners) will be <strong>visiting ten villages each. <\/strong>Thus, it will cover 100 villages in each region and 1500 villages in the country in 100 days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secondly, <\/strong>the visiting teams will identify locations and <strong>shortlist potential Van Dhan Vikas Kendras<\/strong> for clustering as <strong>TRIFOOD <\/strong>and<strong> SFURTI<\/strong> units as larger enterprises.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thirdly, <\/strong>the\u00a0teams will also identify <strong>tribal artisans and other groups.<\/strong> It is to<strong> empanel them as suppliers <\/strong>so that they can have access to larger markets through the <strong>Tribes India network <\/strong>\u2013 both physical outlets and TribesIndia.com.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>About Van Dhan Yojana:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/ministry-of-tribal-affairs-to-announce-achievements-of-prime-minister-van-dhan-yojana\/\"><strong>Van Dhan Yojana<\/strong><\/a> was launched in 2018. It is a programme for value addition, branding &amp; marketing of Minor Forest Produces. For that, Van Dhan Kendras are set up for the creation of sustainable livelihoods for the forest-based tribes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Implementation<\/strong>: Ministry of Tribal Affairs as Nodal Department at the Central Level. TRIFED acts as the Nodal Agency at the National Level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>About Trifood Project:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Trifood Project <\/strong>is an initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs in association with the Ministry of Food Processing(MoFPI).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim<\/strong>: To enhance the income of tribals through better utilization of and value addition to the collected Minor Forest Produce(MFP).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Implementation<\/strong>: Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India(TRIFED).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>About SFURTI:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI) is a scheme of the Ministry of Micro, Small &amp; Medium Enterprises(MSME).<\/li>\n<li>Under the initiative, financial support is being provided for setting up traditional industries clusters viz.
