Version 1.0 of the Dashboard was launched in May 2017.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>About India Energy Dashboards:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>India Energy Dashboards(IED) <\/strong>aims to provide single-window access to the energy data for the country.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Purpose<\/strong>: The dashboard compiles Energy data published\/provided by various sources. Like the Central Electricity Authority, Coal Controller\u2019s Organisation and Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Key Features of the India Energy Dashboards(IED):<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Firstly, India Energy Dashboards(IED) <\/strong>provides time-series data from FY 2005-06 until FY 2019-20;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secondly, The dashboard <\/strong>enables easy downloading of data into convenient spreadsheet formats in a cleaner way;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thirdly, the dashboard provides data<\/strong> at sub-yearly frequencies as well. This includes monthly data and data from portals maintained by the government agencies. Such as <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/7-pm-saubhagya-scheme-an-analysis-30-january-2019\/\"><strong>Saubhagya<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/ujala-street-lighting-national-programme-completed-five-successful-years-of-illuminating-india\/\"><strong>UJALA<\/strong><\/a>, PRAPTI and Vidyut PRAVAH.<\/li>\n<li>Fourthly, it also has a<strong> \u2018Feedback and Suggestions\u2019 <\/strong>forum for the engagement of the energy data user community<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fifthly, a semi-automated workflow <\/strong>will manage periodic updates to the IED. The workflow system performs basic checks and data validation, helping to avoid incorrect data entry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>About PRAAPTI Portal:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>PRAAPTI<\/strong> is a web portal, launched in 2018 by the Ministry of Power.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Full-Form: <\/strong>PRAAPTI stands for Payment ratification and analysis in power procurement for bringing transparency in invoicing of generators.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim<\/strong>: The portal aims at enhancing transparency and encouraging best practices in Power Purchase transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>About Vidyut PRAVAH:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Vidyut PRAVAH <\/strong>is a mobile application launched by the Ministry of Power.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Purpose<\/strong>: It aims to provide data pertaining to:\n<ul>\n<li>The market price of power from power exchange<\/li>\n<li>Value of current all India demand in GW and<\/li>\n<li>All India and State shortages including peak hour and total energy shortage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Source: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pib.gov.in\/PressReleseDetailm.aspx?PRID=1711204\"><strong>PIB<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/st-news\/defence-technology-news-and-updates\/<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the News?
