{"id":102113,"date":"2021-04-19T16:24:45","date_gmt":"2021-04-19T10:54:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=102113"},"modified":"2021-04-20T12:11:41","modified_gmt":"2021-04-20T06:41:41","slug":"first-meeting-of-national-startup-advisory-council","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/first-meeting-of-national-startup-advisory-council\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;National Startup Advisory Council&#8221; &#8211; First Meeting Held"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>What is the News?\u00a0<\/strong>The Minister of Commerce &amp; Industry chaired the first meeting of the <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/national-startup-advisory-council\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Startup Advisory Council<\/a>(NSAC).<\/p>\n<h5><strong>About the National Startup Advisory Council(NSAC):<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>National Startup Advisory Council(NSAC) <\/strong>was constituted by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade(DPIIT).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Purpose<\/strong>: To advise the Government on measures required to build a strong ecosystem for nurturing innovation and startups in the country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Functions of NSAC:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Firstly, to foster a culture of innovation<\/strong> amongst citizens and students, in particular. Further, it also promotes innovation in all sectors of the economy across the country.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secondly, to facilitate public organisations <\/strong>to assimilate innovation. This includes innovations in improving public service delivery, promote the creation, protection, and commercialization of intellectual property rights.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thirdly, to make it easier <\/strong>to start, operate, grow and exit businesses.
