This move would significantly enhance the combat prowess of the Tejas Aircraft.<\/p>\n<div class=\"content-box-red\">\n<h5><strong>About Python-5:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Python-5 <\/strong>is a fifth-generation air-to-air missile(AAM) manufactured by Israeli Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Python-5 Missile was first used <\/strong>in the 2006 Lebanon war. During the war, it destroyed two Iran made UAVs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Key Features: <\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Firstly, the missile can be launched <\/strong>from very short to beyond-visual ranges with greater kill probability and excellent resistance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secondly, Python-5 is capable<\/strong> of \u201clock-on after launch\u201d (LOAL). The missile also has a full-sphere\/all-direction (including rearward) attack ability.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thirdly, the missile also features an advanced seeker <\/strong>with an electro-optical and imaging infrared homing seeker.
