These molds are present naturally in the environment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thirdly, mucormycosis mainly affects<\/strong> people who have health problems or take medicines that lower the body\u2019s ability to fight germs and sickness.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fourthly, ymptoms of the disease<\/strong> are face numbness, nose obstructions on one side, swelling in the eyes, or pain.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fifthly, the infection can occur<\/strong> in almost any part of the body. However, the infection is not contagious. This means that it cannot transmit between people or between people and animals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sixthly, treatment of this infection is possible <\/strong>with prescription antifungal medicine. If not detected early, the infection can be fatal.
