It traverses\nthe cosmos between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.<\/li><li>It was discovered on November 11, 2006 by the\nCatalina Sky Survey, whose telescopes are based in Arizona in the United States.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional\nInformation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minor Planets: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Minor planet is a term used to refer to a\ncelestial object that is not a planet or comet which orbits the Sun.<\/li><li>Minor planets can be dwarf planets, asteroids, Trojans,\ncentaurs, Kuiper belt objects, and other trans-Neptunian objects.<\/li><li>Ceres, found in 1801, was the first minor planet\ndiscovered. Trojans can share the orbits of planets or of large moons. <\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Centaurs<\/strong> <\/td><td>They are small Solar System bodies with a semi-major axis between those of the outer planets. <\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Kuiper Belt Object<\/strong> <\/td><td>Objects found in Kuiper Belt.
