{"id":10592,"date":"2019-10-02T15:41:59","date_gmt":"2019-10-02T10:11:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=10592"},"modified":"2019-10-02T15:41:59","modified_gmt":"2019-10-02T10:11:59","slug":"consumer-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/consumer-app\/","title":{"rendered":"Consumer App"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>Union Minister of Consumer Affairs has launched the \u2018Consumer App\u2019.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the app:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The app aims to provide a one stop solution for consumer grievance redressal across the nation via mobile phones.<\/li><li>The complaint status will be monitored on a daily basis by the ministry and on a weekly basis by the minister personally.<\/li><li>The registered consumer will be informed about their complaint via SMS\/email with a unique number which can be tracked by the consumer.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Grievance redressal:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>There will be time bound resolution of all grievances and those that are simple in nature will be resolved within 20 days.<\/li><li>Those that requires feedback from companies will be resolved within 2 months\/60 days.<\/li><li>If after 60 days the grievance is not resolved, the consumer will be advised to proceed to consumer forum.<\/li><li>Further,the consumer will also be informed before closure of a complaint and if the consumer is not satisfied then the complaint will be referred further to the concerned department.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:Union Minister of Consumer Affairs has launched the \u2018Consumer App\u2019.
