{"id":109275,"date":"2021-05-28T16:52:43","date_gmt":"2021-05-28T11:22:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=109275"},"modified":"2021-05-29T11:15:55","modified_gmt":"2021-05-29T05:45:55","slug":"defence-minister-launches-sehat-opd-portal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/defence-minister-launches-sehat-opd-portal\/","title":{"rendered":"Defence Minister launches &#8220;SeHAT OPD portal&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>What is the News?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Defence Minister has launched the \u2018Services e-Health Assistance &amp; Tele-consultation (SeHAT) OPD portal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About SeHAT OPD portal:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Firstly, SeHAT OPD Portal<\/strong> aims to provide tele-medicine services to the serving Armed Forces personnel, veterans and their families of the three Services.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secondly, the services <\/strong>will be provided by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">defence services doctors<\/span> who are on regular duties.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thirdly, <\/strong>the portal has been <strong>developed and maintained by<\/strong> the Integrated Defence Staff &amp; Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fourthly, the portal has been designed<\/strong> on the lines of <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/ex-defence-doctors-to-provide-online-consultation-on-e-sanjeevani-opd\/\">e Sanjeevani<\/a>, a similar free OPD service run by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare(MoHFW) for all citizens.<\/li>\n<li><strong>fifthly, Significance: <\/strong>As the portal provides contactless consultations in an easy and effective manner.\u00a0The portal will help <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">reduce the load on hospitals and patients<\/span> from the armed services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Source: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pib.gov.in\/PressReleseDetailm.aspx?PRID=1722115\"><strong>PIB<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the News?
