{"id":110343,"date":"2021-06-03T17:22:19","date_gmt":"2021-06-03T11:52:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=110343"},"modified":"2021-06-03T18:47:53","modified_gmt":"2021-06-03T13:17:53","slug":"what-is-xraysetu-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/what-is-xraysetu-service\/","title":{"rendered":"What is &#8220;XraySetu&#8221; Service?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><\/h5>\n<h5><strong>What is the News?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The government has launched <strong>XraySetu service <\/strong>for rapid screening of COVID 19. with the help of Chest X-ray interpretation over WhatsApp for doctors who have access to X-ray machines.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>About XraySetu Service:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-110400 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/xray-setu.png?resize=295%2C444&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/xray-setu.png?w=395&amp;ssl=1 395w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/xray-setu.png?resize=200%2C300&amp;ssl=1 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 295px) 100vw, 295px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>XraySetu <\/strong>is an Artificial Intelligence(AI) driven Xray interpretation platform.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Purpose<\/strong>: It has been developed to identify COVID-19 positive patients even from low-resolution Chest X-Ray images sent over WhatsApp.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Developed by: <\/strong>ARTPARK (AI &amp; Robotics Technology Park) in collaboration with Bangalore-based HealthTech startup Niramai and Indian Institute of Science(IISc).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>How does XraySetu work?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A doctor takes <\/strong>a phone picture of the Chest X-Ray of a suspected patient.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Then the doctor <\/strong>sends the X-Ray pic over to a Whatsapp number of XraySetu via chatbot.<\/li>\n<li><strong>At XraySetu end,<\/strong> image review is done for anonymization, and then it is sent to the XraySetu AI service.<\/li>\n<li><strong>XraySetu AI Service<\/strong> <strong>then<\/strong> analyses the X-ray using specialized machine learning and deep learning algorithms built for detecting unique Covid features in the lungs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>After analysing, <\/strong>a full report with a probability of COVID, pneumonia, markings on the lung image is automatically generated.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The doctor then<\/strong> receives the report from the same WhatsApp number on his phone. The doctor then reads the report and appropriately advises the patient.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>About ARTPARK:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ARTPARK<\/strong> (AI &amp; Robotics Technology Park) is a not-for-profit foundation. It was established by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, with support from the Department of Science &amp; Technology(DST).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Purpose: <\/strong>To promote technology innovation missions in AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Robotics.
