It has been raising funds from private sector organisations, individuals among others.<\/li>\n<li><strong>These funds are being used<\/strong> by the consortium to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">supply critical raw materials<\/span>. Such as <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/india-starts-importing-zeolite-for-medical-oxygen-plants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">zeolites<\/a>, setting up of small oxygen plants, manufacturing compressors, ventilators among others.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Moreover, the consortium<\/strong> is also working to strengthen the manufacturing ecosystem of medical oxygen for long-term preparedness.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Further, a committee of experts <\/strong>has also been <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">set up to evaluate critical equipment<\/span>. Such as oxygen plants, concentrators, and ventilators from a pool of India-based manufacturers, start-ups, and MSMEs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>About Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA):<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Setup in<\/strong>: Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) was set up in 1999 by the Cabinet Secretariat. It is currently a Secretary level position.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mandate<\/strong>: This office is the chief advisor to the government on matters related to scientific policy.
