It was established by the terms of the 1953 armistice that ended fighting in the Korean War (1950\u201353). The DMZ, constitutes\u00a0the 1953 military cease-fire line and roughly follows\u00a0latitude 38\u00b0 N and is known as the <strong>38th parallel<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>The DMZ between North and South Korea has become a de facto nature preserve now since its almost untouched since the end of hostilities in 1953.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>India is a <strong>critic of North Korea&#8217;s nuclear proliferation record<\/strong> and has also voiced concerns of de-nuclearization and disarmament. Hence, for practical purposes, the Sahel is usually defined in terms of its <strong>climate<\/strong> and <strong>vegetation<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>With vast stretches of inhospitable desert and porous borders, the central Sahel has become a hunting ground for <strong>armed groups, rebels, jihadists, <\/strong>and <strong>criminal gangs<\/strong>.
