It seeks for conservation protection\nand development of cows and their progeny. The announcement in this regard was\nmade in the interim Budget for 2019-20.<\/li><li>It will work in collaboration with Central\/State\nGovernment institutions\/ departments engaged in the task of research in the\nfield of breeding and rearing of cow, organic manure, biogas etc.&nbsp;<\/li><li>It will function to a) provide the policy\nframework and direction to the cow conservation and development programmes and\nb) ensure proper implementation of laws with respect to the welfare of cows.<\/li><li>The impact of setting up of the Rashtriya\nKmadhenu Aayog include a) conservation, protection and development of cattle\npopulation including that of indigenous breeds and b) increased inclusive growth\nof livestock sector- this would benefit women, and small and marginal farmers.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Union Cabinet has approved the proposal for establishment of Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog.
