{"id":118363,"date":"2021-07-13T19:51:23","date_gmt":"2021-07-13T14:21:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.forumias.com\/?p=118363"},"modified":"2021-07-14T18:09:00","modified_gmt":"2021-07-14T12:39:00","slug":"strengthening-export-linkage-of-farmer-cooperatives-fpos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/strengthening-export-linkage-of-farmer-cooperatives-fpos\/","title":{"rendered":"Strengthening export linkage of Farmer Cooperatives &#038; FPOs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Source<\/strong>: <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pib.gov.in\/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=1734824\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pib<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h5><strong>What is the news?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>APEDA and NAFED have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for harnessing the export potential of agricultural and processed food products of cooperatives as well as Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Key points of MoU<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>The key areas of cooperation include <strong>facilitating APEDA registered exporters<\/strong> getting assistance under all the Govt. of India schemes implemented through NAFED.<\/li>\n<li>The MoU also envisages ensuring <strong>sustainability and growth of exports by Cooperatives<\/strong> by addressing issues such as technology, skill, quality products and market access.<\/li>\n<li>APEDA and NAFED will also facilitate <strong>participation of Farmers\u2019 Cooperatives in global trade,<\/strong> including B2B &amp; B2C fairs to be organized in India and abroad.
