It shall provide support across the investment cycle by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Offering specific inputs<\/strong> for evaluation of investment opportunities<\/li>\n<li><strong>Addressing queries <\/strong>about the application to govt. schemes<\/li>\n<li><strong>Connecting<\/strong> with strategic partners<\/li>\n<li><strong>Providing<\/strong> on-ground assistance with state departments &amp; relevant authorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Other Functions of Dairy Investment Accelerator:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dairy Investment Accelerator <\/strong>will also organize a series of events with global &amp; local industry participants to facilitate direct interactions with government officials and connect with other players in the Dairy Industry.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Moreover, <\/strong>it would also generate awareness among investors about the <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/animal-husbandry-infrastructure-development-fund\/\">Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development fund (AHIDF).<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>India\u2019s Dairy Sector:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>India <\/strong>is the largest milk producer, contributing 23% of global milk production.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Annual milk production<\/strong> in the country has grown by 6.4% (CAGR) in the past 5 years.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dairy is <\/strong>also the single largest agricultural commodity, contributing 5% of the national economy and employing 80 million farmers directly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Moreover, <\/strong>the Dairy sector has also seen substantial foreign direct investment (FDI) constituting about 40% of FDIs in the Indian food sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: PIB What is the News?
