However, the Ministry of Tourism provides financial assistance under <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/prime-minister-inaugurates-and-dedicates-prashad-projects-in-varanasi\/#Swadesh_Darshan_Scheme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Swadesh Darshan Scheme<\/a><\/strong><\/span> for the development of tourism-related infrastructure and facilities in the country.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: var(--global--color-background); color: var(--global--color-primary); font-family: var(--global--font-secondary); font-size: var(--global--font-size-base);\">The Ministry of Tourism has evolved <strong>Sustainable Tourism Criteria for India<\/strong> (STCI) for major segments of the tourism industry, namely accommodation, tour operators, beaches, backwaters, lakes and river sectors, etc., applicable for the entire country. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: var(--global--color-background); color: var(--global--color-primary); font-family: var(--global--font-secondary); font-size: var(--global--font-size-base);\">Ministry of Tourism has also made it mandatory for the approved tourism service providers such as tour operators, adventure tour operators, etc., to follow the <strong>Code of Conduct for safe and sustainable Tourism.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: PIB What is the news?
