{"id":12057,"date":"2019-11-30T15:55:26","date_gmt":"2019-11-30T10:25:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=12057"},"modified":"2019-11-30T15:55:26","modified_gmt":"2019-11-30T10:25:26","slug":"drdo-defends-nag-missiles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/drdo-defends-nag-missiles\/","title":{"rendered":"DRDO defends Nag missiles"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>Defence Research and Development Organisation(DRDO) has said that state-of-the-art indigenous Anti-Tank Guided Missile(ATGM) Nag is in advanced stages of development.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Nag missile:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Nag is a third-generation, fire-and-forget, anti-tank guided missile developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).<\/li><li>The missile is an all weather,top attack missile with a minimum range of 500 metres and maximum range of 4km.<\/li><li>The missile uses an imaging infrared seeker in lock-on-before-launch mode.It can seek and destroy all known enemy tanks during day and night or under any adverse weather conditions.<\/li><li>The missile can be launched from both the land and air-based platforms.<\/li><li>The missile has been indigenously developed under the Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme(IGMDP).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional information:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About IGMDP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The Integrated Guided-Missile Development Programme (IGMDP) was conceived by Dr. APJ.
