The virus spreads among humans through<strong> direct contact with the bodily fluids<\/strong> of the patient, surfaces and materials<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Fatality Rate: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">case fatality rate is around 50%. Case fatality rates have varied from 24% to 88% in past outbreaks, depending on virus strain and case management.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Treatment: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are <strong>no approved vaccines or antiviral treatments<\/strong> for the virus yet. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Early supportive care with rehydration and symptomatic treatment improves survival.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: Down To Earth What is the News?
