What is the News?<\/b><\/h5>\n

The Ministry of Culture <\/span>inaugurated t<\/span>wo exhibitions on the occasion of Independence Day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Which are those two exhibitions?<\/b><\/h5>\n

Katha Kranthi Veeron Ki<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. It is an exhibition of revolutionaries with a dedicated exhibition on Alluri Seetharamaraju and exhibits of paintings of Shaheedi Diwas, Champaran Satyagraha and Jallianwala Bagh.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. It will be organized by <\/span>Lalit Kala Akademi.\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Monuments of Victory & Valour<\/b>:<\/span><\/h5>\n
      \n
    1. It is an exhibition that will contain photos of resistance and valour across millennia. This will include photos of the:<\/span>\n
        \n
      1. Kakaitya Kala Thoranam at Warangal<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Fort of Jhansi Laxmi Bhai that symbolises her valour against the British in the war of independence in 1857 and\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Vijaya Stambh in Chittorgarh that commemorates the victory over the sultanates led by Mahmud Khilji.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      4. The exhibition will be organized by the National Monuments Authority(NMA).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        About National Monuments Authority (NMA):<\/b><\/h5>\n

        1. National Monuments Authority (NMA) <\/b>has been set up under the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India.<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. It has been set up <\/b>as per provisions of The Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2010.<\/span><\/li>\n
        3. Functions:<\/b> To protect and preserve monuments and sites through management of the prohibited and regulated area around the centrally protected monuments.\u00a0<\/span>\n
