What is the News?<\/b><\/h5>\n

International Financial Services Centres Authority(IFSCA)<\/span><\/a> has launched the pilot run for the International Bullion Exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Bullion?<\/strong><\/h5>\n
    \n
  1. Bullion refers to physical gold and silver of high purity<\/b> that is often kept in the form of bars or coins.<\/li>\n
  2. Bullion can sometimes be considered legal tender and is often held as reserves by central banks or held by institutional investors.<\/li>\n
  3. Investors can buy<\/strong> or sell bullion through dealers who are active on one of several global bullion markets.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    About the International Bullion Exchange:<\/b><\/h5>\n
      \n
    1. International Bullion Exchange <\/b>will be a \u2018Gateway for Bullion Imports into India\u2019, wherein all bullion imports for domestic consumption will be channelised through the exchange.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Managed by:<\/b> \u00a0<\/span>India International Bullion Holding IFSC Ltd (IIBH) has been created for setting up and for operationalising International Bullion Exchange at IFSC, GIFT City.<\/span><\/li>\n

      Expected Benefits:<\/b> The<\/span> exchange ecosystem is expected to bring:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
