The portal aims to register 38 crore unorganised workers, such as construction labourers, migrant workforce, street vendors and domestic workers among others.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>After registration,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the workers will be issued an e-Shram card containing a 12 digit unique number, which will help the government in including them in social security schemes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h5><b>Registration Process on e-Shram Portal:<\/b><\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>A worker can register on the portal using <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">his\/her Aadhaar card number and bank account details, apart from filling in other necessary details like date of birth, home town, mobile number and social category.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Moreover, a national toll-free number \u2014 14434<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 will also be launched to assist and address the queries of workers seeking registration on the portal.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: Indian Express What is the News?
