It functions under the aegis of Union Home Ministry. It<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">replaced the Police Research and Advisory Council formed in 1966.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Purpose: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a nodal national police organisation to study, research and develop on subjects and issues related to policing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Headquarters: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Delhi<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h5><b>About Innovation Cell:<\/b><\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Innovation cell <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is an initiative of the Ministry of Education to foster the culture of Innovation in all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the country.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>It has been established at <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) premises.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Mandate:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To encourage and nurture young students by exposing them to new ideas resulting in innovative activities in their formative years, fostered through Network of Innovation Clubs (NIC) in Higher Educational Institutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: PIB What is the News?
