This means that the system sucks in Slurry Water from the choked Sewerage Systems.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><b>The slurry<\/b> is the thin mixture of an insoluble substance such as cement, clay, or coal with a liquid such as water or oil.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>This slurry water<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is then purified and filtered to make it suitable for Agricultural, Household and Drinking Water usage.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Significance of this system:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Drinking-Water Scarcity problem <\/b>is <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">prevalent in Flood-Affected regions and can be solved by this system as it will help in providing an outlet for flood stagnated water, as well as provide Water Purification solutions in Flood Disaster Zones.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source: This post is based on the article \u201cCSIR-CMERI Mechanized Scavenging System\u201d published in PIB on 1st September 2021.
