Forty Central universities will be implementing innovative measures such as the academic credit bank and the Glue Grant Scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n Under the Glue Grant Scheme, institutions in the same city would be encouraged to share resources, equipment and even allow their students to take classes from each other.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Ultimately, faculty will be able to design joint courses and a Delhi University(DU) student will be able to take a few classes at IIT-Delhi or vice versa,<\/span><\/p>\n This also means that institutions need not duplicate work by developing the same capacities, but would be able to build on each other\u2019s expertise.<\/span><\/p>\n Under this,<\/strong> students can attain qualifications by earning credits rather than specific durations on campus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A certain number of credits would add up to a certificate, then a diploma and then a degree.
