The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs<\/strong> in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology<\/strong> has launched\u00a0 \u2018Main Bhi Digital 3.0<\/strong>\u2019 Campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n It is a special campaign for Digital Onboarding and Training of street vendors under the PM SVANidhi scheme<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n The campaign has been launched <\/span>across 223 cities in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n Under the campaign, BharatPe, Mswipe, PhonePe, Paytm, Aceware are participating to issue UPI IDs, QR codes and provide digital training to street vendors.<\/span><\/p>\n The street vendors will also be trained to accept and make digital payment transactions.<\/span><\/p>\n About PM <\/b>SVANidhi Sch<\/b>eme<\/b><\/p>\n PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi(PM SVANidhi) was launched by the Ministry<\/strong><\/span> of Housing and Urban Affairs <\/strong>in 2020 as a Central Sector Scheme<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Purpose: <\/b>To facilitate affordable working capital loans of up to \u20b910,000 with an interest subsidy @7% on regular repayment. The street vendors are not required to pay any collateral for the loan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Implementing Agency: <\/b>SIDBI<\/strong> has been appointed as the implementation agency for scheme administration.<\/span><\/p>\n Target:<\/b> The scheme targets to cover 50 lakh street vendors, who had been vending on or before March 24, 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The scheme provides Graded Guarantee Cover<\/strong>, to Lending Institutions, on a portfolio basis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The street vendors also stand a chance to avail a loan of \u20b920,000 and \u20b950,000 in the second and third tranches respectively on timely repayment of the loan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n To encourage digital transactions<\/strong> a cashback up to \u20b91,200 on digital transactions at \u20b9100 per month is provided to the street vendors under the scheme.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Source:<\/b> This post is based on the article <\/span>\u201c\u2018Main Bhi Digital 3.0\u2019 Special Campaign for Digital Onboarding, Training for street vendors\u201d<\/b> published in PIB <\/b>on 9th September 2021.<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" What is the News?
