{"id":13376,"date":"2020-01-31T17:50:14","date_gmt":"2020-01-31T12:20:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=13376"},"modified":"2021-06-10T17:47:35","modified_gmt":"2021-06-10T12:17:35","slug":"govt-gives-nod-to-amendments-in-national-commission-for-homoeopathy-bill-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/govt-gives-nod-to-amendments-in-national-commission-for-homoeopathy-bill-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt gives nod to amendments in National Commission for Homoeopathy Bill, 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong> The Union Cabinet has approved the amendments in the National Commission for Homoeopathy Bill, 2019<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>The Bill seeks to repeal the <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/national-commission-for-homoeopathy-medicine-bill-2019\/\">Homoeopathy Central Council Act<\/a>, 1973\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Key features of the bill:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>\u00a0Sets up the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) which will frame policies for regulating medical institutions and homoeopathic medical professionals.<\/li>\r\n<li>Sets up certain autonomous boards under the supervision of the NCH.\u00a0 These boards are:<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>o \u00a0 Homoeopathy Education Board<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>o \u00a0 Medical Assessment and Rating Board for Homoeopathy<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>o \u00a0 Board of Ethics and Medical Registration for Homoeopathy<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Central government will constitute an Advisory Council for Homoeopathy.
