The best remedy to prevent recurrence is to complete the vaccination drive. However, Vaccination faces a great challenge of social hesitancy, with people running away from the vaccine and vaccination drives.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>What were the apprehensions of the people on Vaccination?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>In general, people are scared of medicines. Some believed that <strong>vaccines are not effective<\/strong>. Some people were worried about the<strong> reactions to the vaccines<\/strong> like fever. While others, particularly in <strong>tribal belts of Rajasthan<\/strong>, thought that <strong>vaccines<\/strong> are meant to <strong>target the leftover people of their tribes<\/strong>. Some were <strong>driven by the targets<\/strong> that were given by the administration. To address this, India needs innovative approaches.
