The Ministry of Law and Justice in association with the <\/span>National Legal Service Authority (NALSA)<\/strong> has launched the <\/span>\u201cEk Pahal\u201d Campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n Ek Pahal Campaign aims to <\/span>mainstream legal aid and to actualize the aspiration of access to justice for every citizen.<\/span><\/p>\n Under the campaign, people will be encouraged to register under the Tele-Law Initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n Tele-law Initiative was launched in 2017 by the Ministry<\/strong><\/span> of Law and Justice<\/strong>. It is <\/span>a service that uses video conferencing facilities and telephone services to connect lawyers to litigants who need legal advice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This service aims to reach out to the needy, especially the marginalized and disadvantaged. The service is provided through Common Service Centers or CSCs<\/strong> located at the gram panchayat level.<\/span><\/p>\n The service is free for those who are eligible for free legal Aid as mentioned under Section 12 of the Legal Services Authority Act, 1987<\/strong>.
