Mollusks such as oysters and mussels produce pearls that people have adored since ancient times.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>How is Pearl Framing done?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Pearl Farming, a round foreign body, sand or small stone, will be injected into the live <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mussel. In order to protect itself from the foreign body, the mussel secrets calcium\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">carbonate and cover it fully layer by layer. This later transforms into a pearl.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><b>What are the advantages of Pearl Farming?<\/b><\/h5>\n<p><b>Alternate Source of Income for Farmers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: The income of farmers in India is usually dependent on external factors like climate and this dependence often leads to their losses but on the other hand, Pearl farming is totally independent of these factors and gives one a high amount of profit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Employment Generation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Pearl Farming also promises a tremendous employment generation for youngsters that play an important role in socio-economic development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Eco-Friendly Technique<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Pearl farming is an eco-friendly technique.
