These countries span across Europe, the United States and Chile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Thirdly,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> there were<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong> greater drops<\/strong> in life expectancy<strong> for men<\/strong> than women in most countries, with the largest decline in American men, whose life expectancy dropped by 2.2 years relative to 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Fourthly,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the United States, the rise in mortality was mainly among those of working age and those under 60, while in Europe, dea\u00adths among people aged over 60 contributed more significantly to the increase in mortality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Lastly,<\/b> t<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">he study concluded that the impact<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of Covid-19 on life spans may be greater in less developed countries that wer\u00aden\u2019t included in the research.
