The Union Minister <\/span>for Tribal Affairs has launched the \u201c<\/span>COVID Teeka Sang Surakshit Van, DhanaurUddyam<\/span><\/i>\u201d campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n What is the \u201c<\/b>COVID Teeka Sang Surakshit Van, DhanaurUddyam<\/b>\u201d campaign?<\/b><\/p>\n Aim: <\/b>To accelerate the pace of Covid vaccination among tribal communities of India.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Under the campaign, the <\/b>Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) is collaborating with UNICEF and WHO to roll out the campaign in tribal districts.<\/span><\/p>\n The campaign aims to take the help of<\/b> 45,000 Van Dhan Self Help Groups (VDSHGs) of the TRIFED to promote livelihoods with health.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The campaign is based on 3 J\u2019s <\/span>Jeevan (Life), Jeevika (Livelihood) and Jaagrookta (Awareness)<\/b><\/p>\n Moreover, the campaign also <\/b>employs awareness generation in local languages to promote vaccine uptake and COVID Appropriate Behaviour.<\/span><\/p>\n It also uses<\/b> non-traditional partnerships and community reach for mobilization and collective action such as involvement of traditional leaders and incentivizes adoption of vaccines through local health structures and TRIFED\u2019s influencers in tribal districts.<\/span><\/p>\n Source:\u00a0 <\/b>This post is based on the article <\/span>\u201c\u201cCOVID Teeka Sang Surakshit Van, DhanaurUddyam\u201d was launched to accelerate the pace of Covid vaccination among tribal communities<\/b>\u201d <\/b>published in<\/span> PIB <\/b>on <\/span>29th Sep 2021.<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" What is the News?
