The government has launched a dedicated Portal and a Special Campaign for disposal of pending grievances in the Government of India during the period 2nd October to 31st October 2021. The campaign will<\/span>\u00a0focus on citizen-centric governance to bring \u201cEase of Living\u201d for the common man<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n The Special Campaign is aimed at ensuring timely and effective disposal of Public Grievances<\/strong>, references from MPs, State Governments, Inter-Ministerial Consultations and Parliamentary Assurances by each Ministry\/Department during the campaign period.<\/p>\n During this special campaign, files of temporary nature<\/strong> may be identified and weeded out as per the extant instructions, and redundant scrap material and obsolete items<\/strong> may be discarded to improve cleanliness<\/strong> at workplaces.<\/p>\n Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG)<\/strong> will be the nodal Ministry to monitor the implementation of this campaign.<\/p>\n DARPG has developed a dedicated Dashboard for the campaign, and also issued detailed guidelines in this regard to all Ministries\/Departments of Government of India.<\/p>\n Each Ministry\/Department<\/strong> has designated a Nodal Officer<\/strong> for the special campaign. The progress<\/strong> should be monitored<\/strong> by the Secretaries\/HOD on daily basis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n There had been a 10-fold increase in public grievance cases since 2014.
