This is a clear threat to peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific<\/p>\n<h5>Why there is more provocation in recent times?<\/h5>\n<p>China sees Taiwan as a renegade Chinese province ever since 1949 when Taiwan \u2013 officially Republic of China \u2013 was formed. These tactics aim to provoke and intimidate, instead of all-out conflict. This should actually bring India and Taiwan closer.<\/p>\n<p>Taiwan\u2019s <strong>New Southbound Policy<\/strong> seeks to boost ties with <strong>South and Southeast Asian nations<\/strong>, including <strong>India<\/strong>.
