Henley & Partners has released the Henley Passport Index.<\/span><\/p>\n Henley Passport Index(HPI) was started in 2006 as Henley & Partners Visa Restrictions Index (HVRI) and was modified and renamed in January 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n The index \u200b\u200b<\/span>ranks the passports of countries according to the number of destinations their holders can visit without a prior visa.<\/span><\/p>\n The rankings are based on the analysis of data provided by the International Air Transport Association<\/strong> (IATA).<\/span><\/p>\n Topped by:<\/b> Japan and Singapore stood at the top of the index, with their passport holders allowed to travel visa-free to 192 countries.<\/span><\/p>\n India:<\/b> India, which held the 84th rank in 2020 fell down to the 90th position with its passport holders allowed to travel visa-free to 58 countries.<\/span><\/p>\n Bottom: <\/b>At the bottom of the index is Afghanistan with an Afghan passport allowing visa-free travel to only 26 countries.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Other countries<\/b> at the bottom of the index are Iraq, Syria, Pakistan and Yemen.
