{"id":14164,"date":"2020-03-09T14:18:03","date_gmt":"2020-03-09T08:48:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=14164"},"modified":"2020-03-09T14:18:03","modified_gmt":"2020-03-09T08:48:03","slug":"msde-launches-mahatma-gandhi-national-fellowship-programme-in-bengaluru","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/msde-launches-mahatma-gandhi-national-fellowship-programme-in-bengaluru\/","title":{"rendered":"MSDE launches Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship programme in Bengaluru"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>News:<\/strong>The Union Minister for Skill Development has launched the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship(MGNF) programme in the Indian Institute of Management (IIM),Bengaluru.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About MGNF Programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It has been launched as part of the Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion(SANKALP) Programme.<\/li><li><strong>Aim:<\/strong>To address the challenge of non-availability of personnel for implementation of various programmes at national, state and district levels.<\/li><li>Under this, IIM-B will train 75 graduates for two years in preparing the District skill plan considering the skill gaps, market utilities, government schemes and institutions available in the district.<\/li><li><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>:Those who have a graduate degree from a recognised university and are citizens of India in the age group of 21-30 years will be eligible to apply for it.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About SANKALP:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>SANKALP is a Centrally sponsored scheme of Ministry of Skill Development &amp; Entrepreneurship (MSDE).&nbsp;<\/li><li>It is an outcome focused scheme marking shift in government\u2019s implementation strategy in vocational education and training from inputs to results.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Objective<\/strong>:To enhance institutional mechanisms for skills development and increase access to quality and market-relevant training for the workforce.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:The Union Minister for Skill Development has launched the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship(MGNF) programme in the Indian Institute of Management (IIM),Bengaluru.
